OEM Assistant Supervisor / Production Team Lead

Overview: We are seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader to coach employees, improve processes, and deliver high-quality products.

Role: As the OEM Assistant Supervisor, you will partner with the OEM Shop Floor Manager to maintain efficient production and develop the team. Key responsibilities include: - Lead daily production on the OEM manufacturing floor - Supervise daily activities, coordinate production batches for maximum efficiency - Ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery schedules are met - Remove obstacles to workflow - Coach, motivate, and develop production technicians; assign work; train new hires; provide performance feedback - Partner with HR on attendance and performance matters - Maintain quality during production: inspections, verify specs, identify defects early - Drive continuous improvement and implement process enhancements - Monitor productivity and resource utilization; assist with production reporting and metrics - Promote a safe, clean, organized work environment - Ensure materials and tools are available; monitor inventory and supplies
