Position Microgravity Software Engineer (f/m/d) – Hybrid, Meckenbeuren, Germany
Responsibilities - Develop and produce embedded software for experimental payload hardware and spaceflight applications to be flown on the ISS and other orbital launchers. - Develop test and support software; perform software testing and verification at the system level. - Develop software for additional experimental payloads; support management and engineering with future proposals. - Design software architecture and implement user interfaces; maintain clear documentation. - Apply knowledge of embedded systems, low-level hardware interactions, and communication protocols; program microcontrollers; familiarity with G-code and 3D printing protocols is a plus. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; communicate effectively; maintain organized work.
Requirements - Degree in Software Engineering, Computer/Electronic Systems Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or similar. - At least 2+ years of professional experience. - Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Python, C++) for hardware applications. - Experience in embedded systems design and hardware interactions. - Experie
