Renishaw’s CMM and Gauging Products Division is seeking a Senior/Lead Embedded Software Engineer to develop and maintain real-time software for high-speed, high-accuracy automated measurement systems. The role involves designing software from low-level registers to system architecture, implementing control and measurement algorithms, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and troubleshooting code. Candidates should have experience in modern C++ and C for embedded systems, a solid understanding of software design and architecture, and a passion for solving complex problems. Desirable skills include familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps, multithreaded programming, embedded security, TCP/IP, and a background in mathematics and electronic engineering. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and improvement. Location: Wotton-under-Edge, England, United Kingdom.
