We are MESKRU GmbH, an Atlassian consulting company focusing on Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management. You will join our team in Essen as a Junior Software Developer and contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of Forge Apps using TypeScript/JavaScript with modular, well-structured code and clear conventions. Responsibilities include integrating external systems via REST APIs and webhooks; performing code reviews, debugging, and bug fixing with attention to runtime and performance; creating and maintaining ScriptRunner solutions (Listeners, Workflow Post Functions, Validators, Conditions, Behaviours, scheduled jobs); designing and implementing automations in Jira and Jira Service Management; and performing common Atlassian consulting activities. Qualifications: Nice to have:

Solid programming fundamentals (ideally in multiple languages such as TypeScript, Groovy, Python)
Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript for Forge development
Initial experience with Jira and Confluence
Willingness to debug and fix issues
Structured work style and enjoyment of teamwork and technical communication
Very good German and English skills
Experience with Confluence or other Marketplace Apps
Experience with Atlassian Cloud migrations and operating models
Knowledge of Forge or Automations
Atlassian certifications are welcome
Technically challenging projects with high autonomy and design freedom
