Our goal is to enable renewable energy use at scale and to transition millions of homes to clean power by 2030. The Data Platform team designs and builds the foundation for how data flows across the company, engineering scalable ingestion, processing, storage, and delivery, and enabling internal teams to access and explore data for a wide range of use cases. Responsibilities include architecting, developing, and managing the data platform to support ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, monitoring, and accessibility; collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs. Technologies include Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataform), SQLMesh, Terraform/Terramate, GitHub Actions, Python, SQL, Looker. Requirements include 2+ years of data engineering experience, strong data modeling and governance skills, experience with Python, SQL, and Terraform/HCL, and extensive experience with a major cloud provider (ideally GCP). Familiarity with BI tools and data discovery is a plus. English proficiency is strong; German is a plus.
