The role involves working in a collaborative LAN/WAN environment and delivering technical services within an ITIL framework while incorporating Agile change delivery. Responsibilities include managing Windows Server enterprise infrastructure, RedHat Linux, VMware virtualised estates, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, storage technologies (NetApp and Dell), and Active Directory in on-premises environments; deploying and supporting desktop builds and application packaging. Required skills include Microsoft Exchange management (2013 onwards), MS SQL Server and SQL Database Clustering, Veeam Backup, Ivanti Device & Application Control, patch management, ITIL ICT service delivery, and SAFE Agile delivery; strong communications and organisational skills; ability to work independently as well as in a team; experience in stakeholder management and operating under pressure. Desirable: exposure to F5 load balancing and build/test/ongoing management of a VDI solution using VMware Horizon.
