About the role

Corsearch is looking for an Information Security Engineer Intern to join our Amsterdam team for a 6-month period. This hybrid role requires you to be in the Amsterdam office twice a week and offers 32 hours per week across four or five days.

Engineering and tooling support for the security engineering team, including alert management within MDR tools and monitoring DNS provider security events.
Multi-cloud security monitoring across AWS, Azure, and GCP to maintain a secure cloud environment.
Documentation support, including technical playbooks, network diagrams, and engineering standards.
Phishing simulation and awareness activities to educate employees on social engineering risks.
Security research to identify emerging threats and technologies.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
Strong interest in cybersecurity technical work; experience with CTFs, home lab projects, or security certifications is a plus.
Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP), operating systems (MacOS/Windows), and cloud fundamentals.
Basic scripting ability (PowerShell or Bash preferred).
Analytical mindset with the ability to think like an attacker and communicate complex concepts in English.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
