This role serves as a key backup to the HR lead for benefits administration and compensation while also supporting employee relations, workplace investigations, compliance, performance management, and manager training. Responsibilities include delivering training on employment law and HR policies, maintaining HRIS data, supporting onboarding and professional development, conducting objective employee relations investigations, and assisting with annual open enrollment and vendor relationships. The position requires a BA in human resources, psychology, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience), 5+ years as an HR Business Partner with substantial benefits/compensation responsibilities, knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, and state/local pay equity regulations, and the ability to handle confidential information. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and coaching skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS, and the ability to work in the Denver metro area are essential. This is a hybrid role based in Lakewood, Colorado, United States, with relocation assistance possible. The compensation package includes a base salary of $95,000 to $115,000 per year, eligible for discretionary annual bonuses, and benefits such as medical/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with match, and professional development opportunities.
