This position analyzes financial results, identifies variances and trends, and delivers actionable insights while supporting grant reporting requirements, month-end close activities, and the development of dashboards and KPIs. The analyst collaborates with Accounting, Development, and program teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis: oversee the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets, forecasts, and multi-year projections; monitor results against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance; identify, investigate, and explain variances and trends; develop financial models and scenario analyses.
Financial Reporting: prepare monthly and quarterly reports, dashboards, and analyses for leadership and board committees; produce accurate recurring and ad-hoc reports.
Grant and Restricted Fund Reporting: compile financial data for grant proposals and reporting; assist in developing grant budgets and tracking grant-funded expenditures; monitor restricted funds to ensure donor compliance; collaborate with Development staff.
Accounting and Month-End Close Support: assist with month-end and year-end close processes, prepare analyses and reconciliations, and support audits.
