Coordinate tasks related to the administration of the financial accounting system; analyze monthly expenses; participate in meetings with cost center managers to discuss forecasts and preliminary budgets, and escalate major concerns to the immediate supervisor; maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly journal entries for review, compiling all source documentation for financial reporting; understand internal customer requirements and develop processes to meet or exceed them; ensure compliance with internal financial accounting procedures and policies; ensure all financial and accounting records are thorough and ready for independent audits; perform other duties as assigned.
