Payabl is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Poland on a hybrid basis. You will build and scale our infrastructure, support the Data Engineering team, and enable faster, more reliable releases across our payments platform. This role focuses on infrastructure as code, Kubernetes cluster management (including Helm deployments), and code-first automation. You will work with other teams to identify issues, develop new tools for the data platform, and design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab. You will automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation; monitor and troubleshoot with Prometheus and Grafana; implement security best practices; participate in code reviews; and help teammates with feedback. Requirements include at least 5 years of experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, proficiency with infrastructure provisioning and configuration management tools, strong knowledge of AWS Data Lake services (Glue, Athena), Linux scripting, and excellent English communication. Kafka knowledge is a plus. This is a professional, cross-functional role with opportunities to coach junior members and contribute to a global payments platform.
