We are seeking a Data Science Apprentice to join the Brand & Portfolio Management (BPM) team, within the Data Science Modeling (DSM) group. The DSM team describes and predicts the video game market from multiple angles, including game success, player motivation and satisfaction, discussion topics, and how player behavior evolves over time. The apprentice will play an integral role in modeling player behavior on social networks to help improve our games by listening to feedback. Your responsibilities include developing NLP models to understand what players enjoy, modeling audience profiles from social network behavior, collaborating with analysts to build tools, creating visualizations to communicate insights, exploring new theoretical approaches, and presenting your work to diverse audiences. Qualifications: You enjoy open-ended questions and mathematical modeling, and you have an interest in marketing. You know the difference between Python, Pandas, and Koalas. Ideally you have knowledge of NLP or graph theory. You have touched a video game controller in the last twenty years. You are comfortable querying databases with SQL. You seek a team that values healthy competition and stimulating work.
