New York Life is offering an 11-week Technology, Data, AI & Ventures (TDAV) Summer Internship Program for a Data Engineer Intern. The internship provides hands-on experience building scalable data architectures and pipelines, automating data processes, and supporting cloud infrastructure initiatives. You will contribute to AWS automation, data warehousing, workflow optimization, and the operationalization of data tools for processing structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, while improving data management and governance. You will help with platform integration by developing standardized pipelines that connect data systems and business applications. Eligibility includes currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, or related field; proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with AWS, dbt, Databricks, Redshift, GCP, Glue, PostgreSQL, and Informatica Data Management Cloud preferred. You must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be eligible for full-time work during the May–August period; on-site three days per week in New York City in a hybrid arrangement. The program does not sponsor employment visas, and OPT/CPT are not eligible. Salary: $30–$35/hour plus a $3,000 bonus, with additional discretionary bonus potential.
