Apis & Heritage is seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee the financial operations of the Fund(s) and the Management Company. This is an individual-contributor role with broad scope, reporting to senior leadership and coordinating with the Fractional CFO, serving as the single source of truth across fund accounting, credit facilities, loan servicing and compliance. The position is flexible with remote work; Washington, DC-area presence is a plus. Key responsibilities include Fund Accounting and Capital Activity (preparing and reviewing capital calls, tracking LP commitments, coordinating with the fund administrator and custodian banks, and reviewing NAV packages and quarterly/annual statements for US GAAP compliance); Loan Servicing & Credit Facilities (managing credit line administration, covenant tracking, loan servicing, and lender reporting); Monitoring & Reporting (cash reconciliations, AR/AP, portfolio-level metrics, and covenant tracking); Valuation Committee Support (coordination of quarterly valuations and documentation); Compliance, Audit & Tax ( coordinating annual audits and quarterly tax processes, K-1 and tax return prep, regulatory filings); and Investor Relations & LP Reporting (LP reporting packages and ad-hoc inquiries).
