This role serves as the primary claims advocate for assigned commercial transportation clients, managing the full claims lifecycle from reporting to resolution. You will collaborate with carriers, adjusters, attorneys, medical providers, and third-party administrators to facilitate timely and equitable outcomes, analyze loss runs and claims data to identify risk reduction opportunities, and conduct regular claims reviews with clients. Responsibilities include assisting clients with policy coverages, monitoring large-loss and complex claims, advocating during disputes and settlements, and supporting renewal strategies through claims insights. The ideal candidate has at least five years of commercial insurance claims or commercial lines account management experience, with a focus on commercial transportation, trucking, or fleet claims; an active Property and Casualty license; and strong communication and analytical skills. A bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field is preferred, with professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, CRM, or CIC highly preferred. The position requires proficiency with MS Office and experience with Agency Management Systems; Applied Epic experience is a plus. The base compensation range is $70,000-$120,000, and the role is hybrid in the Chicago area.
