Position: Civic Engagement Team Lead Employer: Mid-City CAN (Mid-City Community Advocacy Network) in City Heights, San Diego, United States. Job type: Part-time, seasonal Overview: The Civic Health Worker Team Lead will supervise 8–10 Civic Health Workers who canvass, phone bank, and engage neighborhood leaders to achieve voter engagement goals, expand the resident base, and build community power. The Team Lead will work on-the-ground as part of a team to execute engagement plans for the 2026 General Election. Location and schedule: On-site in City Heights, San Diego. Hours are typically Sunday through Thursday 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with potential changes by program needs. Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise a team of 8–10 workers on health resources and voter engagement canvassing/phone-banking; prepare outreach materials; dispatch and debrief teams; execute campaign plans; coach staff; participate in outreach activities; solicit health resources, votes, surveys, and petitions; maintain customer service excellence; ensure compliance with project requirements; track daily reports; attend staff meetings; perform other tasks as assigned. Supervision and leadership: Lead staff, delegate duties with clear timelines and measurable goals, monitor performance, resolve conflicts, enforce policies, and maintain professional boundaries.
