Proton is seeking a Backend Engineer in Marketing Technology to build the core components of our marketing technology stack. You will drive software design and implementation within a cross-functional team, collaborating with Business Units, Software Development, Marketing, and Sales to understand requirements and the bigger picture. Responsibilities include researching, planning, scoping, evaluating and implementing the MarTech stack using Python and PHP; training engineers across business units to integrate our SDKs; owning MarTech maintenance, including updates, enhancements, security, and privacy; identifying how technology can improve conversion, efficiency and user experience; acting as the key technical advisor for MarTech solutions.
