Aviation Programs Manager will oversee government aviation operations contracts supporting Functional Check Flight (FCF), acceptance, and ferry flights. This role serves as GMRE's primary operations interface with government customers, aircrews, maintenance organizations, and supporting agencies to ensure safe, compliant, and effective flight operations. Responsibilities include directing FCF operations, coordinating daily flight activities among government personnel, aircrews, airfield management, QA, and leadership; ensuring compliance with DCMA, Air Force, Navy, FAA, and local procedures; supervising site leads and flight crews; managing contract requirements, identifying potential changes, and coordinating them through the appropriate company channels; supporting safety investigations; traveling as required; and promoting a strong safety culture. Qualifications include extensive military aviation operational experience, knowledge of FCF, ability to build relationships with government personnel, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to travel, and experience with government service contracts. Travel up to 50% of the time; location on-site in Brevard County, Florida, United States.
