Associate Software Engineer – Cloud Services & API Platform (C#/Azure track). This entry-level role focuses on maintaining a C# desktop application while learning modern API and cloud practices, with opportunities to work on migrations from Google Cloud to Azure. You will collaborate with senior engineers to implement features, fix bugs, document systems and runbooks, and support migration tasks in a hybrid Plano, Texas office. Key responsibilities include maintaining the existing C# desktop application (bug fixes, testing, small features), developing and testing backend API endpoints and client-server integrations, documenting architecture and operational procedures, contributing to automated tests and CI/CD tasks, participating in agile ceremonies, and gaining cloud experience through small migration tasks. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 1–3 years of software development experience, strong C#/.NET fundamentals and familiarity with desktop app patterns (WPF/WinForms) or solid OOP, unit testing and Git workflows, REST APIs, cloud familiarity (GCP/Azure) or container basics, and experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Domestic travel up to 5–10% may be required. This is a full-time exempt position located in Plano, TX, on a hybrid work model (in-office three days per week).
