Position: Associate Project Manager III with the New York City Department of Transportation (Division of Bridges). The role entails conducting field visits to identify deficient structural conditions, performing structural analyses, preparing design plans and repair scopes, and coordinating repair work with internal units, other agency divisions, and external contractors. The incumbent will create detailed sketches and repair protocols, maintain records of outstanding repair requests, and ensure timely repairs in accordance with NYS DOT Bridge Inspection Manual and NYSDOT OSS Inventory and Inspection Manual. Responsibilities also include reviewing preliminary capital design drawings for future maintainability, supervising the work of subordinate engineers and staff, and potentially working evenings, nights, and weekends.
