Hourigan, a fully integrated construction management and development firm, is seeking a collaborative and driven Assistant Project Manager to join the team in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This on-site role supports the Project Manager across the project lifecycle and may manage multiple projects in various phases of completion. Responsibilities include: partial project ownership, including preparation of construction documents and assisting with schedule management with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and input from subcontractors; project budget management and maintenance; preparation and issuance of subcontract-specific terms for estimating and incorporation into the master Subcontract; assist with preconstruction buyout; management of master subcontract submittal schedules and logs; material tracking and deficiency logs; collaborating with the Project Manager to resolve project-specific issues; assisting the Project Administrator with processing construction documentation; managing Owner Change Orders from RFP to submission; preparing and distributing Subcontractor Change Orders and budget revisions; assisting with monthly Applications for Payment; collaborating on close-out activities; attending trade pre-construction meetings and taking minutes of Owner and Subcontractor meetings; submitting permit applications and tracking related permits; may independently manage small construction projects of limited scope and complexity; and participating in Hourigan's Safety and Health Management System (SHMS), maintaining safe practices and reporting hazards.
