This is a remote, field-based role; the candidate must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license is essential. The ENT Operating Unit is a global leader delivering ENT solutions that improve access, outcomes, and patient satisfaction. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for selling Medtronic Surgical Technologies ENT products to hospitals, physicians, and other approved customers within the territory to attain established quotas and sales objectives. This position is remote and requires travel outside the territory, with approximately 50% overnight travel and up to 60% driving within the territory. The representative will transport demonstration equipment (about 30% physical handling) and must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. The role is based on the representative’s residence and may involve attending meetings and courses both inside and outside the territory. Responsibilities include conducting face-to-face sales calls with physicians, nurses, and other key influencers; demonstrating and in-servicing products; planning and executing sales calls to hospital departments, outpatient centers, and doctors’ offices; providing support to clinical personnel in a surgical environment; maintaining company property and inventory; and reporting competitive activity and maintaining records as requested.
