Autohellas, a leading force in the Greek automotive industry for over 50 years, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Chief Accountant to lead the Accounting Department and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will oversee all accounting activities, lead the accounting team, and act as a key business partner to senior management.

Core Responsibilities: - Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounting Department to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. - Oversee the full accounting cycle and ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP. - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Manage month-end and year-end close processes. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements. - Monitor cash flow, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger activities. - Develop, implement, and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. - Provide financial analysis and management reports to support strategic decision-making. - Coordinate external audits and act as the primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. - Identify process improvements and drive automation initiatives. - Mentor, coach, and evaluate the accounting team.
