Accountant-General — On-site in Makkah Al Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia
Job Overview: We are seeking an Accountant-General to ensure accurate financial recording, reporting, and cash management in a luxury hotel environment.
Responsibilities
Qualifications and Requirements: Work Environment:
- Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
- Organize, secure, and maintain all financial files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
- Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, and computers to compile and maintain financial records.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and generate required reports.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to procedures.
- Follow up on past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment is received or resolved.
- Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all cash-handling employees.
- Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all cash variances.
- Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and related contracts.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: None.
- License or Certification: None.
