Account Manager – Systems Sales at Puffer-Sweiven is responsible for promoting Emerson's automation portfolio within assigned accounts in the Texas Gulf Coast region. This role builds executive relationships and delivers value-based solutions across DeltaV DCS, modernization programs, asset management and reliability solutions, and lifecycle services.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand presence and achieve annual orders and revenue targets.
Identify and pursue greenfield, brownfield, migration, modernization, and expansion opportunities involving DeltaV and related automation technologies.
Build executive-level relationships with operations, engineering, maintenance, plant, and corporate decision-makers.
Develop value-based proposals and business cases demonstrating operational and financial benefits.
Lead complex sales pursuits with cross-functional resources (systems engineering, project management, lifecycle services, proposal teams, and business leadership).
Position DeltaV against competing platforms and manage opportunities through entire sales cycle.
Coordinate sales activities with distributors, system integrators, EPCs, and other channel partners.
Maintain knowledge of customer operations, capital projects, maintenance strategies, production objectives, and digital transformation initiatives.
Maintain regular presence at customer sites and corporate offices to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
BS/BA in a technical field; 7+ years in industrial automation, pro
