Overview: Lead Site Reliability Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology Team. This leadership role focuses on resiliency design, incident management, and mentoring engineers across multiple technical domains.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Model and champion site reliability culture and practices; document and share knowledge within the organization via internal forums and communities of practice.
- Lead initiatives to improve the reliability and stability of applications and platforms using data-driven analytics to improve service levels, proactively identifying and solving bottlenecks in areas of expertise.
- Drive collaboration with stakeholders to identify service level indicators and establish reasonable service level objectives and error budgets with customers.
- Utilize enterprise-approved AI capabilities to accelerate major-incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis, handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact during major incidents for your application, identifying and solving issues quickly to avoid financial loss.
- Provide a high level of technical expertise and mentorship to other engineers.
- Lead reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted reliability workflows across SDLC/toolchain practices (CI/CD quality checks, test/validation automation, operational readiness), ensuring traceability, resiliency, and security controls.
