SentinelOne is seeking a Principal Software Engineer, AI SIEM, to lead architecture across the AI SIEM stack for the United States. You will reason across data ingestion, storage, querying, analyst-facing workflows (alerts, findings, assets, incidents), and the detection engines (rule-based and AI-driven) to identify where architecture is solid, where it is fragile, and where teams duplicate effort or leave gaps. What You Will Do: - Build a working mental model of the full system and use it to guide cross-team architectural decisions that affect multiple components - Drive cross-team architectural decisions, e.g., how ingest-time enrichment relates to detection logic and how detection output shapes analyst views - Partner with engineering leads of each pillar as a peer thought partner, influencing through reasoned argument rather than mandate - Identify and prioritize high-leverage architectural investments and present a compelling case to engineering leadership and product - Get hands-on when needed: prototype, review, and bridge gaps between pillars when ownership is unclear - Establish and champion cross-cutting technical standards for APIs, data contracts, and service boundaries to maintain interoperability - Mentor senior and staff engineers across teams, raising the bar for architectural thinking across the organization - Represent the system’s technical health in planning discussions, trans
