You enjoy solving problems, have experience with Agile Scrum, and strong English skills. You’ve tinkered with Docker and may know DDEV, and you have a good sense for collaborating with interdisciplinary colleagues.
We build our web projects with a variety of tools — you do not need to know or use all of them right away. For large projects we rely on a Symfony backend with a Next.js frontend. We implement shops with Shopify or Shopware. Smaller projects can be built as standalone Next.js applications without a backend. Interfaces are connected via REST (and sometimes GraphQL). In the frontend we focus on semantic HTML, TypeScript, and SCSS. For illustrative elements we use SVGs and are not afraid to edit them directly. Code is managed in Git and Gitlab. We ensure code quality with PHPUnit, PHPStan, PHP-CS-Fixer, ESLint, etc. Local development uses DDEV or a local web server. For hosting we rely on DevOps and deploy to Platform-as-a-Service hosts (Platform.sh, Netlify, Vercel, etc.) or deploy Docker containers into a managed Kubernetes cluster.
