Senior Backend Software Engineer to join Vinted's Cozy team in the Trust & Safety domain. The Cozy team builds the Moderation Platform, the internal system that governs the logic and high-throughput state transitions for reported items and presents information to moderators in real time. Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with a hybrid work model, this role supports a system handling large data volumes, complex workflows, and strict requirements around speed, traceability, and reliability to help millions of users feel safe on Vinted.
In this position you’ll reshape core moderation flows using live, snapshot, and projected data; modernize legacy areas and prepare modular components for future microservice expansions; build and adapt experimentation systems for advanced product and system testing; implement robust logging and monitoring to keep high-volume flows observable and debuggable; balance technical constraints with domain needs such as explainability and extensibility; collaborate across Web, QA, and EPDA teams and mentor nearby engineers; own your services by monitoring and improving backend performance and stability, including service-level indicators and on-call responsibilities; see your code affect millions of users as changes are deployed to production on each merge with frequent releases; work with technologies including Ruby on Rails, Vitess, Redis, Kafka, MySQL, and more.
