Vertiv is seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our Anderson, South Carolina team. The role focuses on designing and developing test setups and procedures for low-voltage power distribution systems used in data center projects. The Test Engineer will perform varied and complex testing for major systems, develop test procedures, assess testing equipment, and document procedures used for the product. This onsite position will be based at Vertiv's Anderson, SC office.

Responsibilities

Lead lab testing activities and supervise Test Technicians as needed, including assigning work and ensuring timely completion.
Collaborate with design engineering to ensure test procedures and data meet specifications.
Create test plans for customer equipment demonstrations.
Review test progress and evaluate results; present test outcomes during customer visits.
Perform test validations and Factory Witness Tests.
Calibrate lab instrumentation.
Provide ongoing support to engineering and support teams to deliver high-quality test products.
Preferred experience with safety certifications such as UL and CE.
