Destinus is seeking a Technical Project Manager to own end-to-end execution of propulsion and pyrotechnics product development programmes. This is a hybrid role based in Payerne, Switzerland. You will manage cross-functional activities across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, testing, and regulatory submissions from kick-off through hardware build, test campaigns, qualification, and delivery. Responsibilities include building and maintaining programme plans, identifying and mitigating critical path risks, leading programme reviews and cross-functional coordination, and tracking progress to translate technical progress into clear status updates. You will handle external dependencies such as supplier lead times, test facility scheduling, regulatory submissions, and customer milestones, while flagging scope changes and schedule risks with proposed options. You will contribute to shaping the PM structure and ways of working for the department alongside team leads and fellow TPMs. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s in aerospace, mechanical, systems, or related engineering discipline; 3–6 years in hardware-heavy development; experience in regulated hardware domains; familiarity with rocket motor, pyrotechnic, or ammunition development is advantageous. Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills; English fluency required, German is a plus.
