LensCrafters is seeking a Team Lead for our store in Santa Clara, California. The Team Lead delivers exceptional customer service, supports store operations and, as applicable, lab processes to meet optical standards and customer needs. Responsibilities include ensuring superb customer service, proactively providing product recommendations, assisting sales associates, and acting as a responsible alternate store key holder. In the lab setting (if applicable), the role involves custom-fitting glasses, accurately placing prescriptions in lenses, strengthening staff knowledge and certification, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards, maintaining a safe work environment, and operating and maintaining lab tools. Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong optical and retail experience, solid knowledge of optical theory and merchandise, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic math, sales ability, problem-solving, familiarity with cash registers and computers, and leadership and training experience, plus edging and mounting experience and basic optics knowledge. Preferred qualifications include licensure or ABO certification in non-licensed states, LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification, LensCrafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program, experience with optical machinery/instruments, customer service experience, AccuFit Digital Measurement System certification, and knowledge of current store merchandise and lens options.
