Q2 is a leading provider of digital banking and lending solutions to banks, credit unions, alternative finance companies, and fintechs in the United States and internationally. The Staff Software Engineer will join the Engineering Development group to design, implement, and support custom solutions across components of Q2's Fraud platform, including Windows- and Linux-based front-end and back-end systems, and will integrate with internal and external services. You will work both independently and collaboratively to deliver production-ready solutions in live environments, provide on-call support as needed, and help ensure security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy controls. You will also mentor teammates and advocate engineering best practices. Typical requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 6+ years, or equivalent experience); proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL; experience with Azure; web development experience; strong design sensibilities and pragmatic delivery to meet deadlines; experience across the full software development lifecycle; service-oriented architecture experience; strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work in an Agile environment; occasional on-call availability; flexible hours to meet deadlines. Fluency in English and authorization to work in the United States are required. Visa sponsorship is not available.
