The successful candidate will provide general ledger support, cash management, and other accounting services for multiple entities across the Nevada Gold Mines portfolio. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, assisting with month-end close, and tracking daily transactions in multiple bank accounts. The role offers exposure to varying levels of complexity, cross-entity support, and rotation across accounting functions with opportunities to improve processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities: - Provide professional accounting and financial analysis for sites; prepare financial statements and analyses. - Support general ledger activities: journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and quarterly audits. - Review costs for accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. - Track daily transactions across multiple bank accounts and entities; manage bank wires. - Assist with accounts payable and receivable as needed. - Maintain knowledge of Barrick accounting policies, procedures, and internal control standards. - Escalate non-routine issues and contribute to continuous improvement. - Assist with budgets and forecasts. - Collaborate with Staff Accountants, Mine Sites, corporate office, and cross-functional teams. - Spanish language skills are appreciated; mining industry experience is a plus.
