The Ion endoluminal system is Intuitive’s robotic platform for minimally invasive biopsy in the peripheral lung, with the initial goal of improving early diagnosis of lung cancer. The SIM Test Engineer will work closely with a team of engineers and subject matter experts to test and improve the quality, safety, and reliability of the Ion endoluminal system. The successful candidate will support both released products and new product development initiatives by executing test procedures, identifying product issues, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting results. This role provides an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of clinical workflows and product use cases while contributing to the continuous improvement of robotic-assisted technology.
