About the role

Planet is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to design and deliver complex geospatial solutions for NATO customers, showcasing the value of Planet's data and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, act as the voice of the customer, and guide technical strategies from first engagement through proposal delivery. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Belgium or the Netherlands, with up to 25% travel; if you are near an office, you may work from that office three days per week.

Responsibilities

Architect and deliver demonstrations and presentations highlighting Planet’s capabilities and how they address customer needs.
Build relationships with customer technical and management staff; serve as a trusted advisor.
Recommend architectures that align with business challenges, budgets, and scalability.
Prepare technical responses to tenders, RFIs/RFPs, and unsolicited proposals.
Partner with sales to shape technical strategy across accounts and drive engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams to voice customer needs, assist with RFP/RFI prep, and submissions.
Meet quarterly and annual sales/operational objectives.
Represent NATO customer needs to Sales leadership; communicate forecasts and pipeline.
Mentor team members and lead training to develop capabilities.
Potential to present to key government stakeholders within NATO.
