The Powered by Affirm (PBA) team builds the APIs and solutions powering Affirm’s integrations with Enterprise Merchants and Partners, including checkout and merchant onboarding. As a Senior Backend Software Engineer on the Growth team, you will own and deliver quarterly goals, lead engineers through ambiguity, and ensure the team’s work is supported from design to deployment. You will collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to articulate constraints, assess risks, and trade-offs. You will identify and help solve project, process, technology, or business issues; monitor metrics; and support ongoing operations and on-call duties. You will raise the quality bar by improving code review and design standards and advocate for these practices beyond your team. You will mentor teammates and lead by example.
