Senior Software Engineer is needed to join a fully remote, globally distributed team building a Talent Operations platform. This is a full-time role based in Germany with a starting salary of €70K per year gross, subject to skills and experience. You will focus on backend development with occasional frontend contributions, working in Java with Spring Boot, React, microservices, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS, and you will participate in architecture design, code reviews, and mentoring. You will apply modern engineering practices including TDD, DevOps, and continuous improvement, and you will leverage AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to improve productivity and code quality. The team collaborates with Product and Design across multiple countries, shipping scalable, high-quality software for a global customer base. Bonus points for Docker/Kubernetes, Agile environments, and experience building highly scalable SaaS platforms.
