Senior Management Accountant - Fixed Term Contract

Contract: Fixed Term until 30 November 2027, 37.5 hours per week Schedule: Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:30

Role overview: Oversee the central reporting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and provide mentoring and development to team members.

Key responsibilities: - Lead weekly and monthly financial reporting; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and robust controls. - Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and deliver clearer, actionable insights. - Manage the upload of approved budget plans into financial systems. - Support the Senior Finance Manager with year-end audit activities. - Prepare and review weekly management reporting packs. - Own month-end reporting controls; maintain compliance and process integrity. - Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the Senior Finance Manager. - Review and sign off on balance sheet reconciliations; maintain strong internal controls. - Build relationships with colleagues across the finance function and mentor direct reports.

About You: - ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 12 months post-qualification experience. - Degree at 2:1 level and GCSE Maths/English at grade C or above. - Strong management accounting knowledge, cost control mindset, and ability to meet deadlines. - Excellent analytical, planning and forecasting skills; advanced Excel and reporting tool experience. - Demonstrated ability to present clear results in a cost-focused environment. - Str
