In this role you will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP), implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation, and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes/ECS. You will also work with the Ruby ecosystem (Bundler, Puma/Passenger, memory management) and collaborate closely with a small R&D team (5 engineers) to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment speed. Responsibilities include bridging the Dev/Ops gap by debugging performance bottlenecks, optimizing Ruby/Rails environment configurations, and supporting AI scaling efforts as needed (monitoring, deployment, and integration with LLM providers and vector databases).
