Gedeon Richter Plc., a leading pharmaceutical company in Hungary and the region, is seeking a Senior Business Unit Commercial Controller to join our finance team in Budapest. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and focuses on planning, forecasting, performance management and strategic business partnering for the assigned unit.

Responsibilities

Coordinate planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the business unit and relevant KPIs, ensuring consistency, transparency and forecast reliability.
Support performance tracking against plans and prior-year comparatives; provide explanations for variances and actionable insights.
Act as a trusted finance business partner to BU leadership; collaborate with BU teams to improve planning quality, reporting discipline and decision support.
Guide BU leadership on financial processes, assumptions and outputs; align with Group Controlling expectations.
Coordinate with Group BI, Group SCM, Regional Commercial Controlling and other Group functions to align processes and support local affiliates.
Oversee Sales & Marketing investments, including Gross-to-Net, G&A and S&M costs; support resource allocation discussions to maximize ROI.
Drive efficiency with data-driven analysis, scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and transversal cost reporting.
Contribute to the implementation and adoption of new technologies and reporting solutions to improve automation and insights.
Support the design and continuous improvement of planning and reporting processes for the commercial area.
