Senior Accountant - General Ledger is responsible for reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by staff accountants, ensuring accuracy and assisting with questions or problems. This position reviews the trial balance and related financial statements for assigned divisions, and prepares adjusting journal entries to correct accounting entries. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and two or more years of accounting experience. Experience with fixed assets, amortization schedules for prepaid accounts, and various accruals (payroll and accounts payable) is preferred. Candidates should have intermediate skills with 10-key, MS Office, and general ledger systems; PeopleSoft experience is a plus. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English professionally is required, with a professional appearance and demeanor.
