You will work hands-on with advanced compound semiconductor ICs and high-performance interconnect technologies used in RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and high-speed digital applications. The role involves designing, developing, and executing reliability qualification strategies for compound semiconductor devices and next-generation packaging and interconnect solutions; evaluating emerging technologies to ensure they meet stringent reliability requirements; applying statistical and data analysis methods to identify failure mechanisms; building and expanding reliability characterization infrastructure; and collaborating with device engineers, process technologists, product designers, and manufacturing teams to translate reliability data into action and influence roadmaps. The ideal candidate has a B.S. in electrical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, physics, or a related field, with experience in semiconductor device reliability or advanced interconnect/packaging reliability, plus strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
