Position Summary: The Quality Engineer ensures products and manufacturing processes meet established standards and customer requirements. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions that support operational excellence. The Quality Engineer analyzes production and quality data to identify trends, detect nonconformances, and evaluate process performance. Using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies, this position investigates quality issues, develops corrective and preventive actions, and supports the implementation of sustainable process improvements. The role also assists in maintaining compliance with applicable standards, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and improve quality plans; implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence; respond to customer escapes and corrective action requests (SCARs); prepare reports such as VIRS, VPARS, LOAs, and customer RCCA responses; drive continuous improvement through COS tools; develop, create, edit and implement special process and quality system procedures; assist with internal and external third-party and customer audits.
