Deacon Construction is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead a diverse slate of commercial projects across the Mountain West. This on-site role is based in Boise, Idaho, and focuses on delivering profitable projects while building strong client relationships. You will own the project from award through close-out, keeping budgets on track, schedules moving, and clients informed every step of the way. You will partner with Superintendents to deliver jobs safely, on time, and profitably while upholding Deacon’s core values of Integrity, Teamwork, and Commitment to Excellence.

Key responsibilities include: - Financial performance: develop budgets, track cost codes, approve invoices, and protect margins. - Schedule management: collaborate with superintendents to build and maintain the master schedule; issue look-ahead updates and recovery plans. - Contract administration: negotiate subcontracts, ensure compliance with scopes, specs, and owner contracts. - Client and partner relations: cultivate long-term relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners; provide transparent reporting. - Team leadership: manage, train, and supervise project engineers and coordinators; foster a collaborative, accountable atmosphere. - Risk and quality: drive RFIs, submittals, change orders, and quality-control processes; coordinate inspections and testing. - Close-out: compile as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals, and final accounting for hand-off.
