Program Manager – Enterprise Technology Deployment is responsible for leading a complex, multi-workstream technology deployment to stand up Caterpillar’s new manufacturing operation in Sanford, North Carolina. This onsite role coordinates business, manufacturing, engineering, technology, site leadership, facilities, procurement, and external partners to ensure solutions are aligned, validated, and ready for go-live. Core responsibilities include developing and managing integrated project plans, milestones, readiness reviews, risk registers, dashboards, dependencies, and leadership reporting; ensuring plans and solutions meet approved business requirements and site operating needs; coordinating change management, training readiness, and workforce readiness; conducting readiness reviews and go/no-go decisions; overseeing go-live, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support; and providing clear, actionable reporting to drive corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have experience leading complex programs with multiple technology platforms, cross-functional dependencies, and external vendors, plus familiarity with enterprise technology deployment in a manufacturing environment and relevant PM certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum). The position is onsite five days per week in Sanford, NC, with travel up to 50–75% during construction planning, supplier reviews, equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and ramp-up. Compensation ranges from $147,760.00 to $221,640.00, and relocation within the US is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.
