Google is seeking a Product Manager I for Consumer Mobile, Chrome Browser. This on-site role supports the Chrome Browser product for mobile experiences and is based in Mountain View, California, United States, with additional on-site locations in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
In this role, you will guide products from conception to launch by aligning technical and business functions, breaking down complex problems into actionable steps, and running experiments to validate product hypotheses.
As a Product Manager, you will lead a dedicated cross-functional sub-team within the Chrome Android portfolio, comprising ten or more software engineers, one UX designer, and one UX researcher. The team sits within a broader Chrome organization distributed across the West Coast. You will drive the development of consumer-facing features and foundational stack capabilities, frequently running experiments to test hypotheses and measure impact.
Responsibilities include designing and launching experiments with analytics around usage metrics and business impact; engaging with the broader Chrome team on feature engagement trade-offs and the latest capabilities; collaborating with Engineering, UX Design, Marketing, Legal, Privacy, and Public Relations; taking responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex cross-functional projects; and extending our product strategy for certain user segments with leadership buy-in from Chrome and Android teams.
