Remote-first People Operations Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting company-wide while supporting core people operations. Own the end-to-end recruiting process—from intake with hiring managers through offer negotiation—and partner with the VP of People Operations on onboarding, HR systems, and day-to-day operational support. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role that combines relationship-driven recruiting with the precision of HR operations. Base Salary: $95,000 - $110,000.

What you’ll do: Full-Cycle Recruiting — Own end-to-end recruiting for roles across the company, from intake calls with hiring managers through offer negotiation. Source, screen, and manage candidate pipelines using our ATS, collaborating with hiring managers on requirements and timelines. Build and maintain a strong candidate experience at every stage. Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness) and report to leadership. People Operations Support — Assist with onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth experience for new hires and departing employees. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data. Help with benefits administration and respond to employee questions on policies and programs. Support compliance with employment law across the states (and potentially countries) where Blackthorn has employees. Process & Systems Improvement — Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting and HR workflows; partner with the VP of People Operations to build scalable processes as the company grows.
