At Apple, the People Analytics team builds data products that empower the HR organization to measure recruitment, development, listening, and retention, and to present insights to team leaders. This role involves end-to-end analytics product development: modeling data in Snowflake, developing Python web services and APIs, building dashboards that surface actionable insights, and automating deployment across Linux infrastructure. You will use agentic AI coding tools such as Claude Code as a primary delivery method, running parallel sessions to design, build, test, and ship while upholding standards for sound architecture, data security, and accurate results. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 7+ years of experience building analytics products, with deep SQL and Snowflake expertise, Python for backend services and data processing, hands-on Linux administration, container experience, and production experience with AI coding tools. Experience with handling sensitive employee data under row-level security and data-access restrictions, autonomy in end-to-end delivery, and the ability to meet competing deadlines across time zones are valued. Familiarity with Python web frameworks and data processing libraries is preferred, along with experience operating services that enable internal systems for AI tooling.
