Data Link Test Engineer Mid-Level – Eglin AFB, Florida, United States. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting the USAF Tactical Data Links Developmental Test Team (TGBC) at Eglin AFB. The role encompasses planning, developing, and executing all aspects of data link test events, coordinating test resources, and producing test plans, data-analysis plans, and formal reports. The candidate will advise government stakeholders, translate operational requirements into test requirements, and present findings to leadership. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining test documentation, briefing the test community, and traveling to test sites as needed (CONUS/OCONUS up to 25%). Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 3–10 years of relevant technical experience, U.S. citizenship, and eligibility for a Secret clearance (interim Secret clearance required prior to start). Experience with data link systems (Link 16, JREAP, SADL, MADL, TTNT, etc.), DoD testing instructions, and common TDL radios is highly desirable. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision.
